British couple found dead in France

John Boyes, 64, is believed to have repeatedly hit and strangled wife Kathryn Boyes, 65, at their house in the village of Boudrac, south of Toulouse.

Local police found John Boyes, 64, and Kathryn Boyes, 65, dead on the grounds of the home on Sunday, although it is believed they both died on Thursday.

Gendarmes later found the body of Mr Boyes in a neighbouring gite. “The couple had a project to open a guesthouse but it was ended because of financial difficulties,” he added. “Wounds were also found on her body – there were signs of strangulation and blows.”
