The League of Ireland community has paid tribute to Freddy Hall, the former Limerick FC goalkeeper who has passed away at the age of 37.
Hall moved to Limerick FC in 2015 and helped the Blues win promotion back to the League of Ireland Premier Division in 2016 and, also in the same year, played in the EA Sports Cup final where they eventually lost to St Patrick’s Athletic. Hall also made ten senior appearances for his native Bermuda, with many tributes paid to the player on social media. Hall made over 40 appearances for Limerick between 2015 and 2018 and also played in England with Northampton Town, Chester, Oxford City and Telford United.
