Full Moon Calendar 2022 and What Each Lunar Cycle Means for You (Allure Magazine)

Read your guide to every full moon in 2022, from a transformative full moon in Scorpio to the total lunar eclipse in May, so you can prepare for the drama, ...

On the last full moon of the year, you're allowed to go out and party. Because this lunation falls in Aquarius, the sign associated with the 11th House of Friendship, the focus of the August full moon is friendship. So, while some of the usual full moon anxiety may occur, you should be able to dance yourself free of it. Considering that a full moon and eclipse combination tends to be ripe for disagreements and blowouts, of all the full moons in 2022, you should definitely stay in and take it easy during this one. And not even because bad things might happen, but because you'll be in the mood to do so. However, they are prone to sadness with such an artistic temperament, which full moons can bring out in all of us. The Capricorn full moon could bring exciting new professional opportunities or a burst of energy helping you complete a project. Capricorn is ruled by strict Saturn and associated with the 10th House of Social Status. As a result, this full moon illuminates your professional life. And, if you think full moons are dramatic, just wait until you find out about what's happening during the two full moons and lunar eclipses, which occur in May and November in sensual Taurus and magnetic Scorpio. Libra is a lovely air sign ruled by planet Venus, the goddess of love, money, and beauty. (If you're curious to learn more, we actually published a guide to moon phases and how to incorporate the lunar cycle into your magical practice, so read up on those if you're curious.) From a July full moon in Capricorn that could bring abundance to your professional life to a messy and dramatic Aries full moon in October, it's a big year for our planet's giant disco ball. Then comes the waxing phase, during which the moon appears to be growing more prominent, which is why witchy folks associate this phase with growth.
