Burnley fixtures

Its starting to get very tight towards the bottom of the Premier League table again, and that might make for a fascinating relegation run-in.

Burnley play before Everton each week too, meaning they have a chance to really crank up the pressure even more. They have three very tough fixtures to come, followed by three that look quite kind on paper. With a Merseyside Derby to prepare for against Liverpool at Anfield, the last thing Everton will have wanted to see was Burnley closing the gap between them to just one point. Leeds are in good form right now with three wins and a draw in their last four matches, but if they lose at Crystal Palace on Monday things might start to look a lot more nervy. From here you'd have to say that Villa can only be architects of their own downfall. The situation: Aston Villa should be feeling pretty safe right now.
