The Bachelors' Con Cluskey dies (RTE.ie)

The death has taken place of Con Cluskey, one of the founder members of vocal trio The Bachelors, the first Irish group to top the British charts.

CON CLUSKEY, who is one of the founding members of The Bachelors, has died at the age of 80.

I worked with Con and Dec on my 21st birthday. In fact, I ended up on stage with them, but that story is for another time. Jess Conrad added: "Another friend gone... Spent many happy hours in his company over the years. RIP Con." The news of his death was confirmed by the singer's management team.
