You can get started with our 101 section — including 10 Sports Betting Tips for Beginners — or head to more advanced strategy — like Key Numbers When Betting Against the Spread — to learn more. With how bad his putter was in Round One, Hatton still being inside the top 20 illustrates just how great the rest of his game was. It is also important to note that there is some ugly weather heading for Augusta in the late afternoon with strong winds, but Conners should be off of the course by then as he tees off at 8:55 AM Eastern Time. Those numbers are eerily similar to Conners’ current rankings, and 25/1 is too large of a price to pass up. Below, I give out my two best Masters Outright Winner live bets to make now that Round One is over. Round One of the Masters is now behind us as Sungjae Im holds the lead at -5.

2022 Masters Picks, Props: Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay, Corey ... (The Action Network)

Round 1 of the Masters is now behind us, with Sungjae Im holding the lead at 5-under. We now look forward to Round 2 on Friday, which features plenty of.

Ancer’s putting was on fire in Round 1 as he ranks fifth in SG Putting, however, that is not sustainable. Conners is tied with Cantlay for seventh at 2-under, and I like Conners to shoot up the standings along with Cantlay in Round 2. It is a miracle that Ancer currently sits inside the top 20 at even par, and needing him to perform just one stroke worse on Friday shouldn’t be a sweat. Cantlay is tied for seventh at 2-under heading into Friday and I believe he will have an even better day in Round 2. Hatton should see positive regression in Round 2 to make-up some ground, so shooting at least 1-under par is a very reasonable ask for Hatton. Over the past few years, Morikawa has had a love-hate relationship with his putter. The rest of Ancer’s game was below-average as he ranks 89th in SG Around the Green, 66th in SG Tee to Green, and 55th in Scrambling. Currently, Conners ranks first in SG Around the Green, 15th in SG Approach the Green, fourth in SG Tee to Green, and fifth in Scrambling. Round 1 of the Masters is now behind us, with Sungjae Im holding the lead at 5-under. It should be used to narrow down the best picks for this tournament. Morikawa is currently tied for 31st at +1, yet ranks 16th in the field in SG Tee to Green at +2.31. Much like Hatton, Morikawa was the victim of bad putting luck in Round 1 as he ranks 78th in the field in SG Putting at -1.50. I mentioned in my first-round analysis how iron play and scrambling are the two biggest indicators of success at Augusta National based on the data of previous champions.

Late bogeys cost Conners in second round at Masters (TSN)

Fellow Canadian and former Masters champion Mike Weir posted a 2-over 74 for the second straight day Friday and is projected to miss the cut, while MacKenzie ...

After going 2-under in his opening round, Conners sits at 1-under for the tournament, well ahead of the projected 3-over cut line. He finished his round with a par on the 438-yard par 4 18th. Conners was 1-under through 15 holes on Friday, but bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes dropped him down the leaderboard.

Corey Conners Masters Odds: Conners Has a 4% Chance to Win ... (Oddschecker)

Corey Conners is done for the day and shot a +1 in round 2. Here's a look at Corey Conners' Masters odds and his chance of winning the Tournament.

OddsChecker sports writer Matt O'Leary brings experience sports betting advice to the OC staff. Conners isn't too far off the pace, has a good history at the course, and is still good value if you want to take another shot. Let's take a look at his odds after he finished up the second round for the Masters.

MASTERS: Corey Conners in contention and no stranger around ... (Toronto Sun)

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Seeing Corey Conners name near the top of the leaderboard at golf's biggest tournaments is no longer a surprise; and that's especially true ...

“Hopefully I can keep hitting it well and not have to get myself in too many of those crazy spots, but short game does feel good.” I ran into Conners’ longtime swing coach Derek Ingram late in Friday’s round, and he mentioned that the pair put in long hours of work at the end of February because Conners was determined to get things back on track. “It’s fun to have them here, and they’re certainly enjoying it.” “He could win the tournament,” another spectator said. Through sun and clouds, on an increasingly windy Friday morning, Conners never strayed far from the two-under score that he started the round with. If there was any surprise to be found while following the 30-year-old’s round on Friday, it’s that the sweet-swinger from Listowel, Ont., is no longer our secret.

Opinion | Corey Conners knows his way around the Masters ... (Toronto Star)

Conners has proven himself an Augusta National guy. Maybe he hasn't solved all its mysteries, but he's pulled back the curtain on the famed course enough to ...

And maybe most important, that he can find a way to post a decent score when the conditions are tough and he misses more greens than usual, which was the case on Friday. “Fortunate to have got out early this morning and got off to a pretty good start. “Definitely excited to get back in the mix again, get myself a green jacket. Maybe he hasn’t solved all its mysteries, but he’s pulled back the curtain on the famed course enough to be confident every game can be a good one. But such a premise, coming from a broadcaster who clearly doesn’t pay much attention to the game, provided the perfect opportunity to pounce. The implication was that Corey Conners, Mackenzie Hughes and Mike Weir had no realistic chance of winning the tournament, so a successful venture in Augusta, Ga. would be playing four days instead of two.
