2022 NFL Free Agency: Fantasy Football Quarterback Winners and ... (FantasyAlarm.com)

Andrew Cooper hands out fantasy football winners and losers at the Quarterback position following 2022 NFL Free Agency.

So, as of this moment, Dak Prescott is a loser this offseason – and I’m absolutely ready for the commenters on Reddit to explain to me why that’s not true. Obviously, Baker is a big loser for fantasy here because he lost his job with a competitive team, and the only remaining jobs out there aren’t particularly great – that we do know. Yes, I know Deshaun Watson is a huge winner too with the money and getting to leave the worst organization in football. What I can say though is that I’m rooting for Baker Mayfield to land on his feet somewhere. Atlanta would still draft Kyle Pitts and then keep Russell Gage. With a healthy Jones at split end, Ridley at flanker, Gage in the slot, and Pitts at tight end, that would rival any weapon set across the league. Meanwhile, the Colts already have two amazing pass-catching backs, Michael Pittman as a rock-solid split end, Parris Campbell could finally be healthy, and one more weapon in the draft that could put them over the top. After years of quietly (and not so quietly) complaining about how things were run in Seattle, Russ™ is finally going to get more say in Denver. We’ve known all along that he had the skill, so we might finally see the ceiling of his production. With Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, and Deshaun Watson all traded as well, the landscape is set to look quite a bit different for fantasy football this year. For a second here, we just need to forget whether we think Tua Tagovailoa is a good quarterback or not in a vacuum. In that universe, Julio Jones stays healthy (and with the Falcons) and Calvin Ridley doesn’t get suspended for the entire season for gambling. The only downside for Tua is that all this firepower leaves no excuses and puts him on the hottest seat in the league. The general manager could shift the roster around and you could add or lose weapons.

Jameson Williams NFL Draft profile 2021: Fantasy Football fits ... (CBSSports.com)

Jameson Williams' star-crossed career is about to hit the pros. What's the speed merchant's outlook in Fantasy?

The same thing could end up happening to Williams, but he could also have a much better career statistically if he has a capable quarterback throwing to him. * caught 22 of 45 targets (49% catch rate) on passes of 15-plus Air Yards for 976 yards and 11 touchdowns. If he lands in a terrific offense with a great quarterback or on a team that may undergo a quarterback change in 2023, then he has a shot to be very special for Fantasy. He's a lock as a top-10 pick in rookie-only drafts and could sneak into the top-3 if the draft results in a best-case scenario. Also stepped out of bounds when running down the sideline on way to the end zone against New Mexico State. * Tore his ACL in January during the National Championship game. He rounded his cuts on deep posts and digs. The Chargers are one of the league's pass-heaviest teams, and while they haven't proven to be schematically efficient with their receivers, they do have one of the best quarterbacks around. * Ran every route in the book but was constantly open versus zone coverage because defenders feared his speed. In fact, he won multiple state titles in the 300-meter hurdles and broke a state record previously held by Ezekiel Elliott in the process. Plus, Patrick Mahomes has one of the best arms in the game. On the gridiron, Williams posted 1,062 yards and 15 touchdowns on just 36 receptions with three kickoff returns for scores as a junior, then followed that up with 68 catches for 1,626 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior. Rated a four-star prospect from 247Sports, Williams chose to attend Ohio State beginning in 2019.

2022 Free Agency Frenzy – BUY/SELL/HOLD Report (Loaded Box Podcast)

A total of 7 First Round picks were exchanged amongst the trades of Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, DaVante Adams, and Tyreek Hill. These deals, along with many ...

Does Melvin reunite with his former college teammate, Russell Wilson, now that he’s in Denver? This will crush the upside that all Javonte Williams’ owners are pining for this season but would be a good move for Gordon. Or does he go to a situation where he’s the main back on a bad team, like Houston or Atlanta? He could also take on a solid split-role for a contender, like Buffalo, Baltimore, Arizona, or even go back to the Chargers. This is where you hold strong, and don’t give him away for a late 2nd or early 3rd round dart-throw. You’re going to feel sick to your stomach if you sold him for the single 1st, and unfortunately that’s what I have been seeing him go for in some deals lately. The Browns were able to snatch up Amari for a 6th rounder from the Cowboys. This now gives Watson a solid veteran to throw to. That will be the time to pounce and scoop up Cooper for less than he’s worth. Amari is a HOLD if you currently own him, and if you want Amari, now isn’t the time to buy him. It wasn’t that long ago that DK was valued as the #1 WR in Dynasty by many, and if any of the rumors of him going to the Packers, Chiefs, or Bills come to fruition, DK’s value will immediately skyrocket back into the nearly “Untradeable” stratosphere. If Lance isn’t ready to take the reigns, it’s going to be another year of Jimmy G. I’ve seen some great value in return for Lance recently (solid QB plus more is ideally what I’m talking about). If you need/want some production now from your quarterback this upcoming season, it might be worthwhile to throw Lance out there and see what you could possibly get in return. This whole song and dance that ended up with Watson as a Brown just gives me eerie “Dante Culpepper to the Dolphins” vibes, where he showed up with a beer-belly and was complete trash the rest of his career. If you can get a 2nd for MVS, and possibly more for RoJo, I’d sell the hype without thinking twice. When you add a top-10 wide receiver and a couple of versatile running backs to an offense that has already sported a top-10 WR and top-10 TE… well, things are going to get even better for the young quarterback. I know this all too well because I owned him, and I was more than happy to flip Sutton for a 1st rounder when the Wilson deal was announced. He will figure out how to go back to spreading the ball around a bit more like he did earlier in his career.

How to Value Dynasty Fantasy Football's Biggest Enigmas (FTN Fantasy)

This year, it's a football term too. In what many are calling the "craziest offseason ever," big-time players are making big-time moves altering the shape of the NFL. and fantasy landscape. With every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

It was the worst full season of his career, as the veteran hauled in only 38 passes for 410 yards and one touchdown. Dynasty is about playing the long game, and although there are question marks surrounding the Falcons' offense in 2022, I have no doubt that Pitts' will be a coveted fantasy asset for years to come. Kyle Pitts came into the league with as much fanfare as was reasonably possible, going fourth in last year’s draft, the highest ever for a tight end. They currently hold the most draft picks in 2022, and it's hard to envision they won't address the position early and often. He stayed in Tampa for 2021 and finished as the RB6 in fantasy, totaling 1,266 scrimmage yards and scoring 10 touchdowns. But Leonard Fournette was the first one drafted that year, and he was first off the board in most rookie dynasty drafts as well. Allen Robinson was one of the biggest disappointments in fantasy in 2021 thanks to an abysmal campaign. Adams was responsible for a team-high 30.8% target share in 2021, followed by Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s 14.1%, and he has since signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. After throwing for 4,115 yards and 37 touchdowns last year, Rodgers will be entering next season as the reigning back-to-back MVP. In dynasty, it is always better to get out ahead. After an up-and-down tenure in Jacksonville, Fournette landed in Tampa in 2020, really popping in the playoffs when Playoff Lenny was born. Rostering Aaron Rodgers the past two seasons has been fun in the moment but quite the headache for dynasty players, as he's described his future as a "beautiful mystery." As it stands right now, Allen Lazard takes the mantle as the No. 1 receiver in Green Bay, followed by Randall Cobb and Amari Rodgers. The Packers will have to address their depleted wide receiver room through free agency and the draft, but it is unlikely they will come anywhere close to replicating Adams' production. In what many are calling the "craziest offseason ever," big-time players are making big-time moves altering the shape of the NFL. and fantasy landscape.
