Shane heard a couple of weeks ago that VIP could be visiting but wasn't sure the visit would go ahead until recent days.

Prince Charles and Camilla had a packed day out in County Waterford today on their two-day tour of Ireland that was planned with “shared passions and shared experiences” in mind.

Charles and Camilla are now regular visitors to these shores since their first trip here in 2015. The last time was in 2019 when they met President Michael D Higgins and on that occasion, Prince Charles said he and his wife plan to visit all 32 counties in the coming years.
